Projects
The Center's "core" research project is called "FreshLink" (formerly known as "Increasing Access to Healthy Food in Urban Neighborhoods"). Follow this link to learn more about FreshLink.
While the PRCHN is a new organization, it builds on the work of the pre-existing Center for Health Promotion Research (CHPR). Therefore several research projects are already well underway within the PRCHN, including:
- "We Run This City" Marathon Fitness Program
- IMPACT Study
- Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) Data Collection
- Behavorial Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Data Collection
- Operation Keepsake: For Keeps
- Drug-Free Community Coalitions
- Health Literacy Initiative Evaluation
- Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Food Policy Coalition
- Cleveland Corner Store Project
Please check back soon for detailed information about each of these projects. You may also be interested to peruse the CHPR website to learn more about the wide variety of research projects that have been conducted in the past at that center since its inception in 2000.
